Manhattan Theatre Club (MTC) has extended its production of “Mary Jane.” Originally announced as a limited run through June 2, the Rachel McAdams-starrer will now play through June 16. The Amy Herzog play began previews on April 2 and opened on April 23 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre.

Directed by Anne Kauffman, “Mary Jane” explores the world of caregiving under extreme circumstances. In addition to McAdams, who plays the title role, the company features April Matthis as Sherry/Dr. Toros, Susan Pourfar as Brianne/Chaya, Lily Santiago as Amelia/Kat and Brenda Wehle as Ruthie/Tenkei.

“Mary Jane” is produced by MTC, under the leadership of artistic director Lynne Meadow and executive director Chris Jennings.
