Broadway’s ‘Romeo + Juliet’ reveals theater, dates and creative team

The revival will begin fall 2024.

“Romeo + Juliet” has announced dates, venue and creative team. Beginning performances on Sept. 26 and opening officially on Oct. 24 at Broadway's Circle in the Square Theatre. The show will run for a limited 16-week engagement.

As previously announced, the production will be directed by Sam Gold, original music by Jack Antonoff and movement by Sonya Tayeh. The revival promises a contemporary take on Shakespeare’s classic love story. Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler will lead the cast as Romeo and Juliet.

The creative team behind the production will feature scenic design by two-time Tony Award nominee dots, costume design by Tony nominee Enver Chakartash, lighting design by Tony nominee Isabella Byrd and sound design by Tony nominee Cody Spencer. Rachel Bauder will serve as production stage manager, with casting by Taylor Williams.

“Romeo + Juliet” is being produced by Seaview. General management will be provided by 101 Productions.
