Jason Blum, CEO and founder of Blumhouse and producer of the original “Paranormal Activity” films, will host a special performance of the stage adaptation of the same name on Aug. 26. “Paranormal Activity” is currently in previews on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre. The show will officially open on Aug. 25.
Written by Levi Holloway and directed by Felix Barrett, the play has already completed successful runs in London, Toronto, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and Chicago. The London run resumed on Aug. 11.
The “Paranormal Activity” stage play is a new story inspired by the “Paranormal Activity” film franchise. The play follows James and Lou, who move from Chicago to London and realize it’s not their home that’s haunted; they are.
“Paranormal Activity” is produced on Broadway by Melting Pot in association with Paramount Pictures.
