The Pekoe Group, a strategic and creative advertising and marketing agency for Broadway, has appointed Jenny Dorso as vice president of marketing strategy. Dorso, who has been with the Pekoe Group for 10 years, will lead the marketing team and oversee the development and execution of brand and campaign strategy as the firm continues to implement a digital-first approach.
Previously, Dorso served as the Pekoe Group’s director of digital strategy. In that role, she guided the digital media campaigns of multiple Broadway shows including “SIX,” “Peter Pan Goes Wrong,” “Eclipsed” and “The Lightning Thief” in addition to Off-Broadway and touring productions. She holds an MBA from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.
Founded in 2009, the Pekoe Group has advertising, digital, branding, websites, social media, partnerships and promotions departments. A certified women-owned business, their clients also include Off-Broadway and touring productions, the upcoming Broadway production of “The Notebook”, cultural institutions and Fireman Hospitality Group.
