Broadway’s advertising and marketing agency the Pekoe Group took home 14 honors at the 2026 w3 Awards. The annual w3 Awards recognize excellence in digital content, design and experiences across multiple categories, including websites, online marketing and social media. Awards are distributed in three tiers: Silver, Gold and Best in Show.
Established in 2005, the w3 Awards are sanctioned by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), an assembly of more than 1,100 industry leaders from acclaimed brands, institutions and agencies like Microsoft, McCANN, Netflix, the Walt Disney Company and more. Submissions to the w3 Awards are reviewed by a jury of AIVA members, evaluated on specific criteria and assigned a score on a 10-point scale.
The Pekoe Group’s 2026 w3 honors comprise four Gold and 10 Silver prizes. Two of those Gold awards were for the Pekoe Group’s work for Broadway clients. The agency’s “Cast Changeover” video, posted on social media channels this past February to celebrate the new Broadway cast of “Operation Mincemeat,” won Gold in the category of General Video – Short-Form and Vertical Video. Pekoe’s “‘New York’ Studio Recording” video, which features the Broadway cast of “Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York)” recording the show’s opening number, won Gold in the General Video – Arts and Culture category.
Pekoe’s official music video for “If I Believed” (also from “Two Strangers”) won two Silver awards in the General Video – Arts and Culture and General Video — Music Video categories. Pekoe’s “‘Two Strangers’ Suitcases” social media video, which playfully showcases the versatility of the musical’s onstage luggage, was awarded with Silver honors in the category of General Video – Short-Form and Vertical Video.

Pekoe was also honored with two more Silver awards in General Video – Arts and Culture for its “Two Strangers” Broadway announcement video and the musical’s “Opening Night Red Carpet Messages” video. Another Pekoe announcement video (the trailer for the 2024 Louis Armstrong bio-musical “A Wonderful World”) took home Silver awards in both the General Video – Arts and Culture and General Video – Entertainment categories.
In addition, two of Pekoe’s social media accounts for its Broadway clients were honored by the w3 Awards: the TikTok page for “SIX” and the Instagram page for “Operation Mincemeat.” Each account won Silver in the General Social – Arts and Entertainment category.
The w3 Awards also recognized Pekoe’s Off-Broadway output: the agency’s “First Look at the cast of Music City” video won Gold in the General Video – Arts and Culture category, in addition to Silver in General Video – Music Video. The agency’s trailer for the immersive “The Phantom of the Opera” reimagining “Masquerade” also received a Gold award in General Video – Arts and Culture.
“We’re incredibly honored to have our work recognized with these awards,” said Pekoe Group founder and president Amanda Pekoe in a statement. “A huge thank you to our wonderful clients and collaborators for their continued trust and for making great work possible.”
