Theater District cocktail lounge Bowtie Bar, in partnership with theater advertising and marketing agency the Pekoe Group, is set to launch a singing telegram event series. Beginning on Oct. 8, cast members from three Broadway shows will appear during three separate happy hours from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Bowtie Bar guests will be able to request musical dedications upon arrival by filling out a telegram card. Bowtie Bar staff will direct performers to the appropriate tables. There is no extra cost for a singing telegram.

Performers from Broadway’s “Two Strangers (Carry A Cake Across New York” will be on hand for telegrams on Oct. 8. Cast members from “SIX” will appear at Bowtie Bar on Nov. 5. Finally, the lounge will host performers from “Operation Mincemeat” on a date in December to be announced. All three shows are represented by the Pekoe Group.

Throughout October, November and December, Bowtie Bar will also offer an accompanying specialty cocktail themed to each month’s featured Broadway show. Guests who present a ticket to that show on the aforementioned event nights will receive a buy-one get-one-free offer for the corresponding drink.

The Pekoe Group is an advertising and marketing agency that has served multiple Broadway and touring productions over the past 17 years. In addition to the aforementioned three shows, its current clients include the Museum of Broadway and the nonprofit organization TDF.
