“Wicked” will become the fifth longest-running Broadway show in history Monday night.

Monday night will mark “Wicked’s” 6,681st performance, which surpasses the previous record-holder “Les Misérables.” “Wicked” opened on Broadway on Oct. 30, 2003 and has since been performed in more than 100 cities.

The musical has amassed more than $5 billion in global sales and been seen by more than 60 million people across the world.

The top four longest-running Broadway shows are “The Phantom of the Opera,” “Chicago,” “The Lion King” and “Cats.”
