Tony Goldwyn to join the cast of ‘The Inheritance’

Tony Goldwyn will take over John Benjamin Hickey’s role in “The Inheritance” for four months. Goldwyn will step into the role of Henry Wilcox on Jan. 5, 2020, as Hickey takes a leave of absence to direct “Plaza Suite” on Broadway.

Tony Goldwyn will take over John Benjamin Hickey’s role in “The Inheritance” for four months.

Goldwyn will step into the role of Henry Wilcox on Jan. 5, 2020, as Hickey takes a leave of absence to direct “Plaza Suite” on Broadway. “Plaza Suite” begins previews on March 13 and opens on April 13 at the Hudson Theatre.

Goldwyn returns to Broadway after starring in last season’s “Network,” and previously in “Promises, Promises” and “Holiday.” His television credits include a starring role as President Fitzgerald Grant in “Scandal” and starring opposite Uma Thurman in “Chambers.”
