The date is set for Broadway’s biggest night. The 78th annual Tony Awards will be held on June 8, 2025. The annual celebration of Broadway will return to Radio City Music Hall for the first time since 2022.

The ceremony will be broadcast live on CBS. It will also stream on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ with Showtime subscribers or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers beginning on June 9).

The 78th Tonys will honor the shows that opened during the 2024-2025 season. Category rulings and specific eligibility of productions are still to come.

Top category winners of the 2024 Tony Awards included Best Musical winner “The Outsiders” and Best Play victor “Stereophonic,” both of which are still going strong on the Main Stem.

A 2025 Tony Awards host and further details will be announced. The Tony Awards is presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
