‘The Inheritance’ announces Broadway cast

“The Inheritance” will transfer to Broadway with five of its London cast members. The two-part play, written by Matthew Lopez, will feature Andrew Burnap, John Benjamin Hickey, Paul Hilton, Samuel H. Levine and Kyle Soller, all of whom reprise their roles from the 2018 West End production.

“The Inheritance” will transfer to Broadway with five of its London cast members.

The two-part play, written by Matthew Lopez, will feature Andrew Burnap, John Benjamin Hickey, Paul Hilton, Samuel H. Levine and Kyle Soller, all of whom reprise their roles from the 2018 West End production.

New cast members for Broadway include Jordan Barbour, Jonathan Burke, Darryl Gene Daughtry Jr., Dylan Frederick, Kyle Harris, Carson McCalley, Lois Smith and Arturo Luis Soria.

The play won the 2019 Olivier Award for Best New Play, with Soller winning the Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Play and director Stephen Daldry also taking home an Olivier.

The creative team for “The Inheritance” includes scenic and costume designer Bob Crowley, lighting designer Jon Clark, co-sound designers Paul Arditti and Christopher Reid and music by Paul Englishby.

Produced by Tom Kirdahy, Sonia Friedman Productions and Hunter Arnold, “The Inheritance” begins previews on Sept. 27, 2019, with an opening night on Nov. 17.
