Situation will open a London office in May 2020, the digital ad agency announced Monday.

The expansion marks the company’s first venture into the United Kingdom and its second office location overall, joining its existing headquarters in New York. Pippa Bexon, currently a group director of client services at Situation in New York, will lead the London office as head of account management.

“In 19 years of running the agency, the idea of expanding to London has come up many times,” Damian Bazadona, president and founder of Situation, said in the press release. “Many of our clients have a presence in the UK. Many of our major media partners have a presence in the UK. And many of the most creative, innovative, and inspiring new ideas come out of the UK.”

The exact location and number of full-time staff members in London have yet to be finalized, according to the company.

The company stated in a press release that it has begun to work with clients in London, though the identities of those clients have not been disclosed.

Situation’s current Broadway clients include “Wicked,” “Dear Evan Hansen,” “Jagged Little Pill” and “Tina.”
