The Broadway production of “& Juliet” will host a special sing-along performance. Hosted by NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, the event will take place during the 7 p.m. performance of the Max Martin jukebox musical on May 8. As previously announced, Fatone will return to the role of Lance beginning on April 22 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

The May 8 event will mark “& Juliet”’s fourth sing-along performance. As was the case with previous sing-alongs hosted by NSYNC’s JC Chasez and Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean, Fatone will offer a special encore performance after curtain call. A number of songs made popular by NSYNC and Backstreet Boys are featured in “& Juliet.”

Featuring a Tony Award-nominated book by David West Read, “& Juliet” imagines an alternative ending to Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” in which the titular heroine survives and decides her own destiny. The musical opened on Nov. 17, 2022 and was nominated for nine 2023 Tony awards, including Best Musical. The production announced recoupment in 2024.

“& Juliet” is produced by Max Martin, Tim Headington, Theresa Steele Page, Jenny Petersson, Martin Dodd and Eva Price.
