Grosses analysis: Broadway box office on the rise as three shows close

For the week ending June 21, the 38 running productions grossed $38,949,543.

Broadway grosses saw a slight increase in Week 4 of the 2026-2027 season. For the week ending June 21, the 38 running productions brought in a total of $38,949,543 — an increase of 1%. Attendance and capacity both increased slightly, by 2.2% and 2.7%, respectively. 

Compared to Week 4 of the 2025-2026 season, Broadway is down overall: The overall box office gross decreased by 9.8% from the previous season ($43,169,396). Attendance decreased by 6.4% compared to this same week last season, and capacity slid by 7.1%. Week 4 of the previous season had the same number of shows running and just one performance fewer.
