Broadway Licensing Group, a theatrical licensing company with approximately 8,000 titles, has changed its name to Broadway Licensing Global and announced the opening of a London office. In addition to its current headquarters in New York City, Broadway Licensing Global (BLG) will also have an office on Great Newport Street in London’s West End.

The London location will be led by a general manager and will include sales, marketing and customer service support to licensing clients. This London office will begin with a smaller staff, fewer than ten employees, with plans to grow the business; the U.S. office currently employs approximately 50 workers. Both the U.S. and U.K. operations will be led by BLG founder and CEO Sean Cercone.
