The National Arts Club (NAC) will present the 2023 Medal of Honor for Achievement in Theater to the Entertainment Community Fund. The award ceremony will take place on Oct. 16 at the Tilden Mansion in New York City. Seth Rudetsky, James Wesley and former chair of the Fund Brian Stokes Mitchell will deliver remarks.

The NAC is a nonprofit dedicated to promoting public interest in the arts and educating Americans about the fine arts. Since 1906, the Medal of Honor has been awarded annually to exemplary leaders in their individual fields, including fashion, dance, theater and more. Recipients are chosen by the NAC president, board of governors and members of a nominating committee. Previous honorees recognized for their accomplishments in theater include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Marian Seldes and Jack O’Brien.
