Broadway general management company Foresight Theatrical announces new director of operations

Foresight has also shared additional personnel changes.

General management firm Foresight Theatrical has announced Lane Marsh’s promotion to director of operations, a newly created position. Foresight currently manages several Broadway shows including “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” “Funny Girl,” “Life of Pi,” “Good Night, Oscar,” “New York, New York,” “Grey House” and the upcoming Main Stem production of “Here Lies Love.”

Marsh began working at Foresight Theatrical (formerly known as Alan Wasser Associates) 30 years ago. He began his tenure as an assistant company manager before gaining his first Broadway general management credit with “Gigi” in 2015. Now, in addition to his management duties, he will lead as the director of operations. Marsh is currently managing the Broadway production of “Grey House,” starring Laurie Metcalf. His other recent Main Stem credits include the 2022 revival of “The Piano Lesson,” “Thoughts of a Colored Man” and “Diana, The Musical.” Prior to joining Foresight, Marsh worked at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.

In addition to Marsh’s appointment, Nick Ginsberg and Jalaina Ross have been promoted to general managers. Ginsberg joined Foresight in 2014 as an associate general manager, working on the development and running of Broadway productions such as “The Band’s Visit,” “The Prom” and “Moulin Rouge!” Ross started at Foresight in 2015 on the general management teams of shows such as “POTUS,” “American Utopia,” “The Band’s Visit” and more.
