Bianca Marroquín will return to the role of Roxie Hart in “Chicago” beginning June 21, producers Barry and Fran Weissler announced Friday.

Emma Pittman, currently in the role following the conclusion of Pamela Anderson’s run, will play her final performance June 19.

Marroquín has a 20-year history in the role, appearing in the Broadway revival sporadically since her first run in 2002. She reopened the musical in 2021 following the theatrical shutdown, then playing Velma Kelly for the first time in her career. During her run, which concluded earlier this year, she briefly filled the role of Roxie before returning as Velma.

“Chicago” plays the Ambassador Theatre, where it reopened on Sept. 14, 2021.
