The Broadway production of “Wicked” will host a special Pride Night performance on June 23 featuring audience giveaways, a post-show discussion and a partnership with the LGBTQIA+ youth crisis intervention organization the Trevor Project.
As part of the evening’s events, arriving audience members will receive a custom Pride button. Following the final bows, the company will deliver a dedicated post-curtain call speech acknowledging Pride Month.
Immediately after the performance concludes, all attendees will be invited to move into the orchestra section for an exclusive talkback with “Wicked” company members. The discussion will be moderated by Zach Eisenstein, the director of communications for the Trevor Project.
The Trevor Project serves as an official partner of For Good, the musical’s ongoing community outreach and charitable platform. The production is encouraging community members and theatergoers to learn more about and support the organization’s mission.
As previously announced, “Wicked” will host its second annual Broadway Pride Block Party on June 26 as a benefit for the Trevor Project.
