The American Theatre Wing, the nonprofit organization that, beyond co-presenting the Tony Awards with the Broadway League, advocates for theater through various initiatives, programs and grants, has released a new video. In the latest from the Wing’s “Working in the Theatre” video series, Tony nominees Lila Neugebauer and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, director and playwright of 2024 Best Revival of a Play Tony nominee “Appropriate,” discuss their work.
“Appropriate” opened on Dec. 18, 2023 at the Hayes Theater, and transferred to the Belasco Theatre on March 25. The drama is currently nominated for eight 2024 Tony Awards.
