Actor and producer Erich Bergen, fresh off a return stint in Broadway’s “Chicago,” will host the 2023 Tony Awards First Impressions Cam, presented by City National Bank. This 76th annual ceremony marks the tenth year of the partnership between the Tonys and City National, which is the awards show’s official bank.

As part of the First Impressions Cam gig, Bergen will speak to the winners offstage moments after they’ve accepted their awards. This exclusive content will be available on the Tony Awards YouTube channel and social platforms @TheTonyAwards.

City National Bank provides products and services to more than 80 percent of Broadway productions. The institution helps producers and general managers with their day-to-day banking operations.

“The Tony Awards is thrilled to continue its valued partnership with City National Bank,” said Heather Hitchens, president and CEO of the American Theatre Wing, and Charlotte St. Martin, president of the Broadway League, in a joint statement. “City National’s loyal support and friendship to the arts, entertainment and Broadway communities allows us to bring the best of Broadway to audiences in new and exciting ways year after year at the Tonys.”

The 76th Annual Tony Awards will take place on June 11 at the United Palace in Manhattan’s Washington Heights neighborhood. The event will begin with exclusive content streaming live on Pluto TV from 6:30 p.m. to ET. The ceremony will be broadcast beginning at 8 p.m. ET on CBS in addition to a livestream available on Paramount+.
