In-person ticket sales for “The Book of Mormon” on Broadway have been relocated following a fire at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre. Theatergoers can now purchase tickets for “The Book of Mormon” at the August Wilson Theatre at 245 West 52nd Street — a few blocks away from the O’Neill on 49th. Both the O’Neill and the Wilson are owned and operated by ATG Entertainment.
The box office of the August Wilson Theatre will be open during normal business hours: from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. from Tuesdays through Saturdays and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays. Theatergoers can purchase tickets to both “Book of Mormon” and “Dog Day Afternoon” — which currently running at the Wilson — from that box office.
Performances of “The Book of Mormon” are currently canceled through May 17 following a fire that damaged parts of the O’Neill Theatre. Repairs are currently underway, with performances expected to resume in the coming weeks. Ticket holders have been notified of cancellations via their point of purchase, with options to receive refunds or reschedule their tickets. Additional updates on the repairs and box office operations at the O’Neill will follow.
