Licensing company Concord Theatricals has announced that the rights for a teen edition of “SIX” are now available for school productions in the United States. Rights to the teen edition were released to schools in the U.K. in April 2022.

“SIX: Teen Edition” is a modified version of the Tony Award-nominated musical featuring a Tony-winning score by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The revised iteration is still full-length but has been adapted specifically for “teen actors and families audiences,” according to a release.

“This feels like a real full-circle moment,” said Marlow and Moss in a statement. “We wrote ‘SIX’ for our female and nonbinary friends to perform when we were all students, so to now have this teen edition for schools enabling young people to take the mic, use their voice and claim their own space, is truly humbling.”

Concord Theatricals currently licenses the worldwide rights to the original “SIX.”

“SIX” is produced on Broadway by Kevin McCollum, Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes and George Stiles.
