‘Once Upon a One More Time’ cancels Aug. 2 performance

The Aug. 2 evening performance of Broadway’s “Once Upon a One More Time” is canceled due to an illness in the company, according to the production’s official social channels. Ticket holders have been instructed to contact their point of purchase for an exchange or refund.

“Once Upon a One More Time” did perform the 2 p.m. matinée as scheduled. According to a representative for the production, the Aug. 3 performance will proceed as scheduled.

The musical, which includes songs made famous by Britney Spears, began previews at the Marquis Theatre on May 13 ahead of an official opening on June 22.

Directed and choreographed by Keone and Mari Madrid, the show features a book by Jon Hartmere.

The cast features Adam Godley, Justin Guarini, Briga Heelan, Jennifer Simard, Ashley Chiu, Brooke Dillman, Aisha Jackson, Ryann Redmond and Tess Soltau. Rounding out the cast are Liv Battista, Gabrielle Beckford, Pauline Casiño, Selene Haro, Joshua Daniel Johnson, Amy Hillner Larsen, Nathan Levy, Justice Moore, Kevin Trinio Perdido, Mikey Ruiz, Ryan Steele, Josh Tolle, Mila Weir, Morgan Whitley, Stephen Scott Wormley, Isabella Ye with Matt Allen, Jacob Burns, Salisha Thomas and Diana Vaden.

“Once Upon a One More Time” is produced on Broadway by James L. Nederlander and Hunter Arnold.
