“Broadway for Biden,” a one-night-only fundraising event for President Joseph R. Biden and Democrats around the country, will be held on the evening of Sept. 18. The exact time and location of the concert have not been publicly announced, as the President himself will attend. Ticket holders will be informed of the venue 36-48 hours before the event.

According to its Eventbrite page, “Broadway for Biden” is both a celebration of the President’s political career thus far and an activation of his 2024 reelection campaign. Funds will support the 2024 political campaigns of President Biden and other Democratic party candidates.

The concert will feature Tony Award winners Laura Benanti, Cynthia Erivo, LaChanze, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ruthie Ann Miles, Leslie Odom, Jr., Ben Platt and Aaron Tveit. Tony nominees Annaleigh Ashford, Sara Bareilles, Josh Gad, Josh Groban, Christopher Jackson and Andrew Rannells are also slated to appear, along with recent scribe and star of “Just For Us” Alex Edelman.

Directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail, the performance will feature musical supervision by Tony winner Alex Lacamoire with additional contributions by Tony-winning choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, Tony-winning composer-lyricists Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and Tony-nominated composer-lyricist Amanda Green.

Tickets for the fundraiser range from $250 to $7,500.

The host committee of “Broadway for Biden” includes Jeffrey Seller, Kail, Luz & Luis Miranda, Bruce Cohen & Gabe Catone, Tom Healy & Fred P. Hochberg, Barbara Marcin & Orin Kramer, Stacey & Eric Mindich, Karen & Gary Rose, Janet & Marvin Rosen, Alexandra & Eric Schoenberg, Ted Snowdon & Duffy Violante and Henry Tisch & Sean Walsh.

“Broadway for Biden” is being produced by Seller. The event is paid for by Biden Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee authorized by Biden for President, the Democratic National Committee and the State Democratic Parties of all 50 states.
