Khaila Wilcoxon is set to return to Broadway. Producers of “SIX” announced on April 16 that Wilcoxon will join the Broadway production as Catherine of Aragon beginning on May 18. She is scheduled for a limited run in the role through July 19.

Wilcoxon takes over the throne from Adrianna Hicks, an original member of the Broadway company who had rejoined the musical on Feb. 16. As previously announced, Hicks will play her final performance at the Lena Horne Theatre on May 17.

This move marks a homecoming of sorts for Wilcoxon, who previously led the North American “Aragon” tour of “SIX” in the same role and then played the role on Broadway for two separate stints in 2023 and 2024. Wilcoxon’s other Broadway credits include “Redwood,” in which she originated the role of Becca, “Hadestown” and “Ruben & Clay’s First Annual Christmas Carol Family Fun Pageant Spectacular Reunion Show.” Off-Broadway, she appeared in the musical “Black No More.”

“SIX” follows the six wives of Henry VIII as they reclaim their narratives through a pop-concert lens. The musical took home two 2022 Tony Awards, including the prize for Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss’ score.

“SIX” is produced on Broadway by Kenny Wax, Wendy and Andy Barnes, George Stiles and Kevin McCollum.
