Jordan Donica is set to return to “The Phantom of the Opera” as Raoul on May 29 while current cast member John Riddle takes a leave of absence, producers announced on Monday.

Donica made his Broadway debut in the musical in June 2016. He returns for a limited engagement.

Riddle steps away to lead the new off-Broadway musical “Titanique.” He is set to return to the role of Raoul on Monday, August 1.

Additional cast changes to the long-running musical include the return of Maree Johnson in the role of Madame Giry beginning May 16. Johnson rejoins the Broadway company having just played the ballet mistress in Australia’s outdoor production on Sydney Harbor.

Rebecca Eichenberger, who assumed the role of Madame Giry during Johnson’s leave of absence, will play her final performance on May 15.

Joining the cast on May 9 is ensemble member Kanisha Marie Feliciano. She takes over the role of Page and will understudy Christine, currently played by Emilie Kouatchou.

“The Phantom of the Opera” reopened to audiences on Oct. 22, 2021, following the theatrical shutdown.
