Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS has added six new industry members to its board of trustees.

Local 802 President Adam Krauthamer, producer Brian Moreland, actors Kimberly Marable, Javier Muñoz and Billy Porter and director Schele Williams were unanimously approved by the board of trustees on Sept. 24.

“This group of impressive leaders in our industry have time and again shown up and dedicated themselves to those who’ve been marginalized, silenced and overlooked, the very people helped by grants from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS,” said Robert E. Wankel, president of the Broadway Cares Board of Trustees and chairman and CEO of the Shubert Organization.

They fill vacancies left by the late Terrence McNally, a founding trustee of Broadway Cares and Phillip J. Smith, who is retiring from his position alongside his role as chairman and co-CEO of the Shubert Organization. Board members Joe Baker, Bob Callely, Paul DiDonato, Roy Harris and Jay Laudato are cycling out of their positions.
