Actor and comedian Jo Koy has joined the producing team behind “Here Lies Love,” marking his Broadway producing debut.
“‘Here Lies Love’ is a celebration of Filipino culture and I’m so honored to be a part of this groundbreaking musical,” Koy said in a statement. “For the first time, Broadway will get to see what we have always known, that Filipinos are some of the most talented entertainers.”
Producer Diana DiMenna said in a statement, “On behalf of all of our producers, we welcome Jo Koy and his internationally renowned Pinoy Pride to our fully binational team.”
Koy’s fourth and most recent Netflix comedy special, “Live From The Los Angeles Forum,” was released in September 2022.
