‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ moves up Broadway start date

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will return to Broadway earlier than expected. The play, which producers recently announced will be condensed into one part, rather than two, will now resume performances Nov. 12 at the Lyric Theatre. The production previously announced a start date of Nov. 16.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” will return to Broadway earlier than expected.

The play, which producers recently announced will be condensed into one part, rather than two, will now resume performances Nov. 12 at the Lyric Theatre. The production previously announced a start date of Nov. 16.

Tickets for the production, ranging in price from $79 to $289 premium tickets (with higher priced tickets for lounge access) were released Monday. Casting for the production’s return has not yet been announced.

“Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is written by Jack Thorne and directed by John Tiffany. It is produced by Sonia Friedman Productions, Colin Callender and Harry Potter Theatrical Productions.
