Broadway box office metrics rose in Week 17 of the 2026-2027 season. For the week ending Sept. 20, the 26 currently running productions grossed a combined total of $27,070,361, representing an 8.2% increase from the week prior. Attendance increased by 5.4%, while capacity increased by 4.9%. Of note, the week ending Sept. 20 saw the end of NYC Broadway Week, during which participating productions offered two-for-one ticket deals.
Compared with the same week of the 2025-2026 season, Broadway was down overall. Grosses were 15.9% lower than in Week 17 of the previous season, while attendance was 5.3% lower. Capacity remained relatively steady, up by 1.1%.
