Broadway box office grosses are back up in Week 48 of the 2025-2026 season after a dip in numbers the week prior. The overall gross increased by 3.3% to $40,365,196 for the week ending April 26. Capacity increased slightly by 1.8% to 89.6%, with attendance up 2.4% to 335,070. Both weeks had 40 productions running. Although all three of these metrics increased from Week 47, all three are still down compared to the numbers in Week 46. Of note, six new shows had their official openings this week ahead of the Tony Awards’ eligibility deadline on April 26, compared to three the previous week.
Compared to Week 48 of the previous season, Main Stem grosses are down by 20.7%. Week 48 of the 2024-2025 season saw a gross of $50,874,913, with 26 fewer previews and 27 more performances (also across 40 shows) than in Week 48 of the current season.
