Directed by Thomas Kail, “Sweeney Todd” will begin performances on Feb. 26 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and will open on March 26. With music supervision by Alex Lacamoire, the production will feature the Stephen Sondheim score as it was performed in its first Broadway staging, with Jonathan Tunick’s original 26-player orchestration. The musical features a book by Hugh Wheeler.

The creative team for the revival will also include choreographer Steven Hoggett, set designer Mimi Lien, costume designer Emilio Sosa, lighting designer Natasha Katz and sound designer Nevin Steinberg. Casting is by The Telsey Office. Baseline Theatrical will serve as general manager. Cody Renard Richard serves as production stage manager.
