“Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune,” starring Audra McDonald and Michael Shannon, will play the Broadhurst Theatre this spring.

The revival of the Terrence McNally play will begin previews at the theater of May 4, 2019, with an opening night set for May 30. It will play a 16-week engagement through Aug. 25.

Directed by Arin Arbus, the play is produced by Hunter Arnold, Debbie Bisno and Tom Kirdahy.

It takes over the Broadhurst after “Anastasia” plays its final performance there on March 31.
