An upcoming performance of Broadway’s “Back to the Future” will hold special significance. The 3:00 p.m. matinée on Oct. 20 will mark “Back to the Future Day,” in honor of Oct. 21, the date the characters Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel to in 2015 in the 1989 film “Back to the Future II.” To commemorate the event, Don Fullilove will make a cameo on stage at the Winter Garden Theatre during the performance.

Fullilovee played Goldie Wilson in the original “Back to the Future” film and made a brief appearance as Goldie Wilson III in “Back to the Future II.” A veteran voice actor, he has been heard in the movies “Mulan,” “Monsters, Inc.” and “Monsters University,” as well as the television series “American Dad.”

Featuring a book by Bob Gale and a score by Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard, “Back to Future” is directed by John Rando. Following previews that began on June 30, 2023, the musical opened on Aug. 3. The production was nominated for two 2024 Tony Awards.
