“Dear Evan Hansen” will launch a West End production in the fall of 2019.

The musical will play the Noël Coward Theatre. Exact dates and casting have not yet been announced.

“Producing Dear Evan Hansen in the U.S. has been a joyful undertaking, as the team and I have seen such widespread and heartfelt response to our show’s message,” lead producer Stacey Mindich said in the press release. “We’re so excited to bring this show to London, especially to Cameron Mackintosh’s jewel box of a theater, The Noël Coward.”

“Dear Evan Hansen” features a book by Steven Levenson, a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul and direction by Michael Greif. The entire creative team, including set designers, lighting designers and more, will reunite for the London production.

The musical is currently playing at the Music Box Theatre on Broadway, where it opened on Dec. 4, 2016. The musical also launched a national tour this month and has a Toronto production that will open in March 2019.
