Daniel Radcliffe, Cherry Jones and Bobby Cannavale will star in the world premiere of the play “The Lifespan of a Fact” this fall.

The play, written by Jeremy Kareken and David Murrell, as well as Gordon Farrell, will open at Studio 54 on Oct. 18. 2018. Leigh Silverman will direct.

“The Lifespan of a Fact” begins previews on Sept. 20, 2018 and will play a 16-week limited run.

The play is based on the book written by John D’Agata and Jim Fingal. The book and the play come from the true story of an essay D’Agata wrote about a Las Vegas teenager who committed suicide. Fingal was assigned to fact check the essay, which launched a multi-year debate about how true literary nonfiction needs to be.

Jeffrey Richards, Norman and Deanna Twain, Will Trice, Barbara Freitag, Eric Falkenstein, Carl Moellenberg/Wendy Federman, Ken Greiner, Van Kaplan and Caiola Productions are producing.
