“Company” will resume Broadway performances a month earlier than previously announced.

The revival will now begin preview performances at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre on Nov. 15, with an opening night scheduled for Dec. 9. “Company” was previously scheduled to begin preview performances Dec. 20, with an opening night on Jan. 9, 2022.

“There were 135 people working on ‘Company’ when the shutdown happened,” said producer Chris Harper. “Knowing that this many people are counting on the show coming back as soon as possible has been a huge motivator for us. So, when the schedules of a number of key creative team members made this possible, it was a no brainer. We had to make it happen.”

Katrina Lenk, starring as Bobbie, and Patti LuPone will return to the production, alongside returning cast members Matt Doyle, Christopher Fitzgerald, Christopher Siber, Jennifer Simar, Terence Archie, Etai Benson, Nikki Renée Daniels, Claybourne Elder, Greg Hildreth, Rashidra Scott and Bobby Conte Thornton.

Kyle Dean Massey, who played the role of Theo, announced on social media in June that he would not be returning to the production, as he and his husband are expecting their first child. Casting for the role will be announced in the coming weeks, according to the press release.

Theatergoers who already purchased tickets for later dates can exchange the tickets for earlier performances.

The revival, directed by Marianne Elliott and choreographed by Liam Steel, played nine preview performances before the March 12, 2020 Broadway shutdown.
