The Commercial Theater Institute (CTI) has revealed the agenda for its Three Day Intensive course. As previously announced, the fall 2025 programming will take place from Nov. 7 to 9 at Studio Seaview. CTI, a national training program for commercial producers and managers, is led by the Tony Award-honored former TDF executive director Victoria Bailey and Tony Award-winning producer Sue Frost, and is organized in a partnership with the Broadway League and TDF.
Courses that will be included in the weekend-long course are the Commercial Theatre Landscape, the Language of Development and Production, Budgets and Contracts, Vocab Session: Co-Producers and Investors, Commercial Off-Broadway, Building a Co-Producer Team, Getting the Money Together, Marketing Broadway Shows Today and Marketing Case Study. Each session will feature leading theater industry professionals.
“This syllabus reflects CTI’s mission to provide tools and education to the next generation of theater producers,” Frost said in a statement. “We are confident that participants will come away with insight into the industry and make meaningful connections with like minded professionals.”
CTI is co-curated by Theatre Production Specialists, Gillian Fu and Natalie Gershtein.
Sponsors of the Three Day Intensive include the Nederlander Organization, the Pekoe Group, the Araca Group, Galbraith and Co, the John Gore Organization (parent organization of Broadway News), Loeb and Loeb, AKA and Situation Interactive.
