Broadway grosses see $2.6 million bump

Broadway grosses ticked upward last week, as the industry added one more show to the weekly totals.  In the week ended March 13, grosses reached $22.4 million across 20 productions, an increase of $2.6 million from the week before. Capacity rose to 85% from 78% in the previous week.

Broadway grosses ticked upward last week, as the industry added one more show to the weekly totals.

In the week ended March 13, grosses reached $22.4 million across 20 productions, an increase of $2.6 million from the week before. Capacity rose to 85% from 78% in the previous week.

The Broadway League has been publicly reporting grosses as collective totals, rather than for individual shows.

There have been 19 productions making up the gross totals for the previous six weeks. “Take Me Out” began previews on March 10, bringing the number up to 20.
