Two-time Tony Award-winning actor Bebe Neuwirth has signed on to announce the 2024 Drama League Award nominees with the previously scheduled Tony nominee Vanessa Williams. The nominations announcement will be made on April 22 at 10:00 a.m. at the New York Library for the Performing Arts. Neuwirth replaces the previously announced Jordan Fisher, who is no longer available to participate due to a scheduling conflict.

Neuwirth is currently appearing as Fraulein Schneider in the revival of “Cabaret.” She earned Tony Awards for her turns as Nickie in the 1986 staging of “Sweet Charity” and Velma in the 1997 mounting of “Chicago” (which is still running on Broadway). Neuwirth’s other Main Stem credits include “A Chorus Line,” “Dancin’,” “Little Me,” “Damn Yankees,” “Fosse” and “The Addams Family.” She won 1990 and 1991 Emmy Awards for her performance as Lilith Sternin on the television series “Cheers.”

Frank DiLella will host the 90th annual Drama League Awards ceremony, set to be held on May 17 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom.
