Actors’ Equity has created new contracts that allow select producers to record and then release performances online to ticket buyers.

These temporary agreements are available to producers in areas that have limited the number of people allowed to gather at one time. The agreements do not apply to Broadway productions, as those Equity contracts already contain a provision for media capture.

Thus far, ACT Theatre in Seattle and Berkeley Repertory Theatre have announced they would use the new streaming agreements.
