An acclaimed British actor, Mark Strong has only been on Broadway twice. Yet he surely knows how to make an impact — as both his 2015 performance as Eddie Carbone in “A View From the Bridge” and his 2025 performance in the title role of “Oedipus” earned him Tony Award nominations.

Here, Strong discusses building a contemporary Oedipus, crafting his relationship with co-star Lesley Manville and missing the stage.
