TDF announced Wednesday that it will reopen the Times Square TKTS ticket booth on Sept. 14 at 3 p.m.

The booth, which closed along with Broadway theaters in March 2020, will resume offering discounted same-day tickets to Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. Tickets to matinee performances will be sold as part of the previous day’s offerings.

The announced date aligns with the reopenings of “Chicago,” “The Lion King,” “Wicked” and “Hamilton,” which all resume performances that evening.

“We’re excited to once again serve New Yorkers and visitors on a budget who have missed the experience of live performance,” said TDF Executive Director Victoria Bailey. “Our re-opening will mirror Broadway’s: a few shows at first with more to follow as the fall progresses.”
