“The Music Man” has postponed its opening until Feb. 10, 2022.

This is the second postponement of the revival, starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, which had most recently set an opening date of May 20, 2021. Previews for the musical now begin Dec. 20, 2021 at the Winter Garden Theatre, a spokesperson confirmed Friday.

Jackman and Foster are confirmed to return in the starring roles.

The announcement comes as Broadway is due to be shuttered through at least May 2021.

The revival is directed by Jerry Zaks and produced by Scott Rudin, Barry Diller and David Geffen. The musical, which was originally intended to open this fall, recently put up its marquee and front-of-house at the Winter Garden Theatre.
