The Broadway production of “SIX” has announced a special NYC Pride Night performance. On May 28, the 7 p.m. performance of “SIX” will be followed by a talkback featuring the show’s cast and moderated by NYC Pride executive director Im Lynde. In addition, a portion of ticket sales from this performance will be donated to the NYC Pride nonprofit.

“It is a challenging time for our trans community right now, so NYC Pride is focusing on intentional partnerships that uplift and celebrate trans voices,” said NYC Pride’s associate director of partnerships Matthew Seniz-Cheng in a statement. “‘SIX’ is a dynamite show, and we’re excited to help give Dylan Mulvaney’s history-making turn its proper flowers.”

“‘SIX’ is proud to partner with NYC Pride and support the extraordinary and important work they do. We have been honored to have Dylan in the cast. Her joy, talent and generosity of spirit is infectious, and she personifies Broadway at its best,” added producer Kevin McCollum.

NYC Pride has produced New York City’s official Pride Month events since 1984. Funding supports live event programming like the annual Pride March, the Pride Fest street fair and Youth Pride events, which celebrate and support young LGBTQIA+ community members.

“SIX” on Broadway is the longest-running show in Broadway’s Lena Horne Theatre, and is the winner of two Tony Awards including Best Original Score for Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. The musical is playing in London’s West End and on a national tour in addition to the Broadway production, which currently features returning cast members Khaila Wilcoxon, Jasmine Forsberg and Olivia Donalson along with original cast member Anna Uzele and influencer Dylan Mulvaney, who previously toured with “The Book of Mormon.” Mulvaney recently announced her departure from the show following her final performance on May 31, after which Kirstin Maldonado of the a capella group Pentatonix will step into the role of Anne Boleyn.
