Second Stage Theater Company, one of four nonprofit institutions that produce on Broadway, has named three new board members. Roberta Terkowitz, Martin Toner and Michael Singleton will join the board of trustees of the theater.
Additionally, current board members have taken on new roles. Lauren Bright and Margaret Dees have joined the executive committee. Pesha Rudnick will serve as chair of the HR Committee, and Natasa Valocchi has been named has vice chair of the committee on trustees.
Terkowitz is a longtime supporter of the arts. Now retired, Terkowitz spent her career in the field of information technology. She has also been a member of the board of trustees of Studio Theatre in Washington, D.C., as well as the board of New York’s American Folk Art Museum. Toner is a partner in the New York office of Bain & Company, a management consulting firm, and leads global strategy. Singleton is a partner in the New York office of Russell Reynolds Associates, an executive search and leadership advisory firm. He leads the firm’s local nonprofit practice and co-leads its global arts and culture practice.
The Second Stage board is led by co-chairs Kevin Brockman and Terry Lindsay. In additon to the three new members, the full board consists of Bright, Mia Campbell, Debra Martin Chase, Dees, Laurie Erlandson, Tony Goldwyn, Alyse Graham, Mary Tavener Holmes, Janet Lynne Knopf, Sarah Kupferman, Gina Maria Leonetti, Dre Taylor Lindsay, Mari Nakachi, Robert Nash, Alice Pacthod, Gabrielle London Palitz, Adrian J. Perry, Sarah Pontius, Bambi Putnam, Brynn Putnam, Rudnick, Nathan E. Saint-Amand, Motoko Sakurai, Stephen C. Sherrill, Christopher Skinner, Stewart R. Smith, John Sorkin, Angela Sun, Valocchi, Susan Wasserstein and Candice K. Weir.
Second Stage is led by artistic director Evan Cabnet and executive director Adam Siegel. The theater announced its 2025-2026 season earlier this spring.
