Producer Hunter Arnold and Stephanie Yankwitt, owners of TBD Productions, announced the launch of casting office TBD Casting Thursday.

The new venture, headed by Yankwitt, who is also a casting director, and by casting director Margaret Dunn, will be a casting consultant for TBD Productions and will cast outside theatre, film, television and commercial projects.

The goal of the casting agency is to prioritize “casting each project in a way that reflects the heterogeneity of the world,” according to the press release.

Current projects include “Burn All Night,” “A Little More Alive” and “Wait Wait Don’t Kill Me.”

TBD Casting said it plans to pick up independent Broadway shows in the future, alongside the office’s work on Broadway projects in development with TBD Theatricals.

TBD Productions encompasses the casting agency as well as TBD Creative, a video production company and TBD Theatricals, the production company involved in “Once on This Island,” “Anastasia,” “Kinky Boots” and “Dear Evan Hansen.”

TBD Casting will serve as in-house casting consultant for TBD Productions, while working independently in theatre, film, TV, and commercial casting.

Yankwitt previously worked under Bernie Telsey on film projects including “Rent and “Across the Universe” and under Tara Rubin on the film “Lucky Stiff.” Dunn began her career at Telsey and Company, casting Broadway musicals, plays and commercials, and later worked in creative development for The Shubert Organization for a decade.
