The Jimmy Awards (formally known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards) has announced the group of industry professionals who will serve as coaches, judges and presenters for the 16th annual ceremony. The previously announced event, which celebrates excellence in high school-level theater across the country, will take place on June 23 at Broadway’s Minskoff Theatre. Levy, the latter of whom is a former Jimmys nominee from 2012. The coaches will work with the 110 nominees during a 10-day musical theater intensive leading up to the June 23 ceremony.

The panel of judges, who will select the winners of the Best Performance by an Actor and Actress awards, will include Montego Glover, LaChanze, Joe Machota, Alecia Parker, Marc Platt, Tara Rubin, Nick Scandalios, Bernard Telsey and Lia Vollack. Finally, the evening will include a slew of presenters, who will be on hand to introduce various awards, musical numbers and tributes. The list of presenters includes two Jimmys alum, both of whom are 2025 Tony Award nominees: Jasmine Amy Rogers (a 2017 Jimmys finalist and a 2025 Tony nominee for her leading turn in “Boop! The Musical”) and Julia Knitel (a 2009 Jimmys nominee and a 2025 Tony nominee for her featured turn in “Dead Outlaw”). Additional presenters include Lin-Manuel Miranda, Apollo Levine and Aki Nishino.

The 2025 Jimmy Awards will stream for free online at the Jimmys’ official website beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET on June 23. The ceremony will remain available online through June 26.

The Jimmy Awards are presented by the Broadway League Foundation, the philanthropic division of the Broadway League, which is the trade association for the Broadway industry.
