Kim Kardashian is now part of the producing team of “The Fear of 13” on Broadway. Kardashian, an advocate for criminal justice reform, will make her Broadway debut, joining Seaview, Wessex Grove and Gavin Kalin Productions on the producing team of Olivier Award nominee Lindsey Ferrentino’s new play, which is currently in previews at the James Earl Jones Theatre ahead of an April 15 opening.

“My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been about more than just policy — it’s about people,” said Kardashian in a statement. “I’ve learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story. ‘The Fear of 13’ is that story. It’s a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris’s wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars for 20 years. I couldn’t be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight.”

Kardashian, best known for her modeling career, reality television series and clothing brand Skims, is a vocal advocate for criminal justice reform. She executive produced and starred in the 2020 documentary “Kim Kardashian West: The Justice Project,” and in 2025 completed a six-year legal apprenticeship, which qualifies her to take the bar exam and become a lawyer in the state of California.

“The message this play carries with it is urgent and we welcome Ms. Kardashian and her activism to this production and to our Broadway community,” added the producers of “The Fear of 13” in a joint statement. “The work she has done to shine a much-needed light on criminal justice reform is exemplary and we are proud to be collaborating with her.”

“The Fear of 13” stars two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody as Nick Yarris, who spent over two decades in prison for a murder he claims he did not commit. Golden Globe Award nominee Tessa Thompson co-stars. The play has also partnered with the Innocence Project, a nonprofit organization that provides post-conviction relief to prisoners who believe they have been wrongly convicted.
