Grosses analysis: ‘Cursed Child’ more than doubles at the box office while Broadway overall softens

For the week ending Nov. 16, the 34 running productions grossed $40,196,255.

Most of Broadway’s offerings took a slight dip at the box office in week 25 of the 2025-2026 Broadway season, after having posted big numbers during week 24. Twenty-six of the 34 running productions saw a meager decrease in gross. Overall, there was a 1.2% decrease in gross compared to the week prior, when the same number of shows were playing. Broadway’s box offices took in a total of $40,196,255. Attendance also saw a little drop, down 2.6% from the previous week with 297,542 total admissions. Capacity was down 2.3% with 89.6% of seats filled.

Compared to week 25 of last season, Broadway’s numbers are up significantly. The Rialto has taken in 10.2% more at the box office than the same week in the 2024-2025 season. But this past week also saw 2.9% fewer admissions than the same week last season.
